Mission
Kay’s Cubhouse mission is to provide a holistic educational environment which encourages the growth of the mind, body, and spirit. Holistic education is a philosophy of education based on the premise that each person finds identity, meaning, and purpose in life through connections to the community, to the natural world, and to humanitarians’ values such as compassion and peace. We strive to look for an approach to educate in the tones that meet each child’s unique needs and skills. Our focus is to prepare each child to become a well-rounded adult.
Our Philosophy
Kay’s Cubhouse provides a positive, safe, and loving family environment for children, while guiding children to develop skills necessary for each stage of development. With my facility, we can give quality, individualized care to families at affordable prices, and we also offer various discounts and vouchers to help with the overall cost of care. Many basic childcare necessities are provided at the
Center, including diapers and wipes, as well as home-style center. This helps reduce some of the stress for families where finances are an issue. For a child with special needs, we work to provide the best care possible while helping the family explore all additional resources to enhance the child’s well-being.
Children here are encouraged to be children; I do not believe they are small
adults.
